PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, to punish the respondent herein for his wilful disobedience and non-compliance of the orders of this Court made in W.P.No.5859 of 2009, dated 15.03.2022.

The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent submitted that the entire monetary benefit of Rs.4,16,797/- has been disbursed to the petitioner herein and he has produced a copy of the receipt. The petitioner has also acknowledged the receipt of the amount.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would, however, submit that the entire monetary benefits have not been disbursed to the petitioner.

3. Since the amount of Rs.4,16,797 has already been disbursed, the disobedience alleged against the respondent cannot be termed to be willful in nature. However, if the petitioner is of the view that there are some amounts left to be paid by the respondent herein, liberty is hereby granted to him to make a claim in accordance with law. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
