This writ petition has been filed challenging the notice dated 21.03.2014 issued by the third respondent, thereby directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.44,932/- towards metro water tax. 2.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition. He also made an endorsement in the Court bundle to that effect.
