Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to provide an employment to the petitioner's son namely R.Anbarasan in commensuration of his educational qualification as per Serial No.46 of Annexure read and Rule 12(4) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Rules, 2016 within the stipulated time period.

O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to provide an employment to the petitioner's son namely R.Anbarasan in commensuration of his educational qualification as per Serial No.46 of Annexure read and Rule 12(4) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Rules, 2016 within the stipulated time period.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 2/6

petitioner is having three sons namely R.Silambaran, R.Anbarasan and R.Tamizh @ Ilavarasan. The learned counsel would submit that her third son namely R.Tamizh @ Ilavarasan was murdered on 14.07.2018. Thereafter, a trial was conducted before the II Additional Sessions Judge, Puducherry and ultimately, conviction was imposed against the accused. After the pronouncement of judgment in the Criminal Trial in Spl.SC.No.1 of 2019, the petitioner had given a representation on 31.12.2018 to grand victim compensation scheme and also she has given representation to the 3rd respondent, to give appointment to the petitioner's son one Mr.R.Anbarasan.

At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate (Pondicherry) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and 5 would submit that they are in the process of finalising the Government Order for the employment of the dependents of the deceased victims and that Government Order is in the advance stage and would be issued shortly. It is the further submission of the Government Advocate (Pondicherry) that on passing of Government Order, the petitioner's application would be processed.

4. Recording the said submissions of the learned Government 3/6

Advocate (Pondicherry) for the respondents 1 to 3 and 5, the instant Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
