The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police towards the summons issued under Section 67 of the Narcotics and Psychotropic substances Act, 1985 vide NCB.F.No.48/1/07/2024/NCB-MDS dated 27.05.2024 in Crime No.Not Known of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Public Prosecutor submitted that, based on summons issued, petitioner appeared and his statement was recorded and his custodial interrogation is not necessary. He further submitted that, petitioner may appear before the respondent police as and when required.

3. In view of the above, this criminal original petition is ordered and the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required on receipt of summons.
