O R D E R

(The Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) The issue of shortage of staff, not only in respect of the District of Kancheepuram, but also other Districts has been periodically addressed to the State Government and financial sanctions are awaited qua number of proposals sent. That issue is being followed up administratively.

2. In any case, the petitioner-association has been substantively absenting itself from court and not performing its duties as an Advocate body and is therefore hardly in a position to raise this issue.

3. The writ petition accordingly stands closed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
