ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Ambathur to expedite the committal proceeding in PRC No.16 of 2017 to the Sessions Court, Thiruvallur.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondent.

3. Considering the fact that the matter is pending without any progress, the learned Judicial Magistrate Ambathur is directed to expedite the steps to commit the case to the Sessions Court, Thiruvallur District as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. Further, if the accused is absent, the learned Magistrate shall take coercive steps by issuing Non Bailable Warrant for securing the accused.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
