By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 16.05.2024 and 03.06.2024.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the fourth respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property is the ancestral property and he is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the fifth respondent has given an application before the third respondent requesting to survey the land and issue UDR patta. In this regard, the petitioner has made representations on 16.05.2024 and 03.06.2024 before the respondents 2 and 3 to cancel the patta issued in favour of the fifth respondent. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents 2 and 3. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 16.05.2024 and 03.06.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the fifth respondent, within a period of two months weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6
