ORDER

Seeking a direction to the second respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members in accordance with law on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner to the respondents dated 20.02.2015, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.381/2014 was registered and the same was closed as mistake of fact and the closure report was filed before the concerned Magistrate. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies by filing appropriate protest petition before the concerned Magistrate, who shall deal with the same in accordance with law.
