O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present Criminal Original Petition is to call for the records in Crime No.11 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, CSCID, Thiruvallur Unit and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that admittedly the petitioner's name is not found in the FIR and he is the owner of the vehicle seized by the respondent.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to quash the FIR in Crime No.11 of 2014 on the file of the respondent. However, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.11 of 2014 and file a final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
