Comp.A.No.309 of 2023 in C.P.No.57 of 1998 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY, J By this application, the applicant seeks to implead ICICI Bank as the third respondent in C.A.No.297 of 2021.

2. At the last hearing, it was recorded that notice was served on ICICI Bank on 17.06.2023. In spite of service of notice and the name of ICICI Bank being printed on the cause list, there is no representation. Therefore, the matter is proceeded with.

3. The present application has been filed on the basis that the relevant land was mortgaged with ICICI Bank. As the mortgagee, ICICI Bank is a necessary party. Consequently, this application is allowed as prayed for. As a corollary, the applicant is permitted to carry out the amendments on or before 02.08.2023 and serve a copy of the amended application on the other parties.
