ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to respondents 4 to 6 is dispensed with.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the properties comprised in Survey No.131, 132 and 133, situated at Chozhavandipuram Village, Thirukovilur Taluk, Villupuram District.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner submitted an online application dated 22.07.2024 before the 3 respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property comprised in 2/5
Survey Nos.131, 132 and 133, admeasuring an extent of 1 Hectare28.50 Ares, situated at Cholavadipuram Village, Thirukovilur Taluk, Villupuram District and paid necessary charges. However, till date petitioner's application was not considered by the 3rd respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. At the outset it is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader that an enquiry would be conducted after issuing notice to petitioner, respondents 4 to 6 and thereafter proceed with the survey and complete the process within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

The facts of the case are not dealt with, in view of the order proposed to be passed, based on the consent by both the learned counsel for petitioner as well as respondents to consider the application dated 22.07.2024. However, it is left open to the appropriate authority to call for the documents and examine the facts and pendency of suit, if any, its bearing/relevance, while considering the petitioner's application dated 22.07.2024.
6. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conduct an enquiry after issuing notice and a reasonable 3/5
opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 4 to 6, adjacent land owners and any other interested parties including rival claimants if any and thereafter conduct survey and complete the process within a period of 12 weeks from the dated of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of the order copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
