Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, Govt's Counsel For R1 And R2 Order This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioners dated 13.02.2026. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners made a representation dated 13.02.2026 seeking for cancellation of patta issued in the name of D.Revathy in respect of the land measuring to an extent of 1 acre 30 cents in Survey No.139 and the land measuring to an extent of 77 cents in S.No.91/1B situated at Nemilichery Village, alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and to issue patta in the joint name of all the surviving legal heirs of the late Kanniga Pillai. However, the said representation was not considered by the official respondents. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2026 will be considered and disposed of within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government's Counsel appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the 3rd respondent. The entire exercise shall be completed on or before 29.06.2026.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 7.Post the matter under the caption "For Reporting Compliance" on 30.06.2026.
