ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the complaint dated 16.08.2016 given by the petitioner and to investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the Vice President in Nagar Panchayat, Nallur Union, in which one Kolanchi is the President. It is alleged by the petitioner that Kolanchi had forged the petitioner's signature in the cheques and misappropriated the funds of the Panchayat. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In the allegation of this nature, the petitioner should approach the District Collector, under whose control Panchayat comes and after enquiry, if it is found that there is an act of misappropriation and forgery, FIR should be registered based on the report of the District Collector. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
