The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 24.01.2014 for issuance of patta to the petitioner in respect of the lands purchased by her in S.No.215/13, extent 0.24 cents, S.No.215/1A : extent

2. It is the case of the petitioner that a request for issuance of patta in respect of the above referred lands by the representation dated 24.01.2014 has not yet been considered by the respondent.

3. Ms.A.Mathumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader and also taking into consideration the averments stated in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
