O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to relocate the shop situated in Old Complex (near septic ward) to new complex of the Government Eye and Ophthalmic Hospital Egmore, Chennai-600 008 where three wards namely Spetic Ward (Women), Men General Ward, A-Theatre Post operative ward are situated pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 20.12.2022 and the subsequent reminder dated 06.03.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during pendency of this petition, the respondent has passed an order dated 04.05.2023 refusing the petitioner's application and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3. Recording the said submission, the present writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
