Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 2.7.2022 and 11.3.2025 made for leasing out the lands comprised in various Survey Nos.51/2(part), 169/3, 168/4, 168/5, 28/7(part), 106/8, 109/3, 169/2, 185/6, 120 (part), 229/3, 205/2, 186(part), 56(part), 59/1(part), 206(part), 217(part), 53/3(part), 54/1(part), 54/8(part), 170 (part), 206(part) etc., in Tirunallar and other adjacent villages, belonging to the fourth respondent Temple as per Section 25 of the Puducherry Hindu Religious Endowment Act, 1972, by public auction, once in three years.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to act upon the representations made by the petitioner on 02.07.2022 and Page No.2 of 6
11.03.2025, wherein, the petitioner is seeking invocation under Section 25 of the Puducherry Hindu Religious Institutions Act, 1972 and to take action against persons who are over-staying in the subject property and also the adjacent villages belonging to the Temple.
2. Heard Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr.R.Kamaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Sreedhar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court and considering the submissions made by either side, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 11.03.2025 in line with Section 25 of the Puducherry Hindu Religious Institutions Act, 1972, after affording an opportunity to the interested parties and final orders shall be passed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
