When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent has submitted that as against the suit filed by the petitioner in O.S.No.311 of 2007 on the file of the District Munsif, Kangeyam, an appeal in A.S.No.45 of 2014 came to be filed before the Subordinate Court, Tharapuram and the same is pending for arguments by both sides. The said statement is recorded.

2.In view of the above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there cannot be any direction to provide police protection as prayed for by the petitioner. It is always open to the respective parties to approach the jurisdictional Court for appropriate remedy.
