The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to submit the status report in Crime No.2592 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and file final report before the competent Court within stipulated period.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Selvam. Based on the said complaint, the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.2592 of 2015 for the alleged offences under Sections 406, 420 and 506(ii) IPC on 02.09.2015. But there is no progress in the investigation of the said case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor as well as the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in Crime No.2592 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as early as possible.
