O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner challenging the order passed by the second respondent, Revenue Divisional Officer.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is said to have filed an appeal before the first respondent on 28.10.2013 and the same was not disposed of till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner has already been disposed of by the first respondent by an order dated 01.08.2016. He has also produced the copy of the order.

4. Considering the fact that already the appeal filed by the petitioner was disposed of by the first respondent, nothing remains for adjudication. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, it is always open to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law. No costs.
