Respondents PRAYER:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to forward the petitioner's re employment proposal to the third respondent i.e., The Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Saidapet, Chennai 600 015 for permitting the petitioner to continue his service after the date of his retirement on superannuation on 30.06.2022 for the period from 01.07.2022 to 31.05.2023 and also be pleased to issue an appropriate order or direction to the third respondent after receiving the petitioner's re employment proposal from the respondents 1 and 2 to issue proceedings for re-employment proposal for the academic period 01.07.2022 to 31.05.2023 at Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai 30.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to forward the petitioner's re-employment proposal to the third respondent and consequently, on such receipt of proposal, directing the third respondent to issue order for re employment.
2. The petitioner was working as Associate Professor and HOD of Economics in Pachiyappa's College, Chennai and he retired from service on 30.06.2022 on superannuation. He is eligible for re-employment from 01.07.2022 to 31.05.2023 till the academic year is over, as per the proceedings of the Director of Collegiate Education in D.dis No.02245/C3/2022 dated 28.06.2022. Hence, the petitioner has given representations to the second respondent to send the proposal for his re-employment. But, they have not taken any steps to forward the same. Hence the writ petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the first and second respondent submitted that the proposal for petitioner's reemployment will be forwarded to the third respondent along with the remarks, within a stipulated time as fixed by this court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent submitted that, if any proposal is received and the petitioner satisfies all the criteria, the third respondent will consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law, as per the Rules and Government Order.
5. Inview of the above submissions and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is ordered as follows. i) The first and second respondents are directed to send the proposal for re-employment of the petitioner along with the remarks to the third respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. ii) On such proposal being received, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the proposal.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
