PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.176/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 27.03.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son Karthick @ Kulla Karthick, S/o.Raji, aged about 23 years the detenu now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at librty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.2787, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 19.05.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
