Due to the change of mobile number, the petitioner was not in a position to contact his counsel and hence the order passed by this Court on 09.06.2016 in Crl.O.P.No.7736 of 2016, which was received on 07.09.2016 by the counsel, was not known to the petitioner at the relevant point of time. Hence, the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court to extend the time granted for filing protest application. 2.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a time of one month from today is granted to file the protest application before the Judicial Magistrate-II, Karaikal.

3.This petition is ordered accordingly.
