ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by D.Krishnakumar, J.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a writ of mandamus forbearing respondents 1 to 4 or their subordinates from running/establishing a TASMAC shop in Survey No.582 situated at Karupagoundenpalayam Road, Palladam Road, Veerapandi, Tiruppur District.

2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1, 3 and 4, on instructions, submitted that the allegation of the petitioner that the fourth respondent is establishing a TASMAC shop in Survey No.582 and construction works are going on is unfounded. He further added that there is no such proposal pending with the authority concerned and the respondent authorities are also not carrying out any construction activities, as alleged by the petitioner.

3. In the light of the submission made by learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1, 3 and 4, the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.17175 of 2024 is closed.
