O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to the Organizers of the Arulmigu Sri Vinayakar Kovil, Minnampalli Village and Post, Namakkal District on 25.08.2017 for conducting Dance and Orchestra Entertainment Programmes, as permissible under law.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 17.07.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 25.08.2017, the respondent has not passed orders till today.

3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner therein and dispose of the same. 4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 24.08.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
