Rules praying for judgment and decree as follows:- a) directing the defendants to pay a sum of Rs.32,48,831/- along with interest @ 18% p.a from the date of plaint till the date of payment.

b) pay the cost of the suit and c) pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to pass in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

.. Respondents This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.S.R.Sundar, the learned counsel for the plaintiff and Mr.N.Vijayaraghavan, the learned counsel for the defendants are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Plaintiff has filed the suit for recovery a sum of Rs.32,48,831/- along with interest thereon at 18% p.a., which is pending from the year 2010. The parties have settled the matter and in pursuance of the settlement/compromise, Memo of Compromise filed, wherein the parties have agreed for a decree in a sum of Rs.15,66,448/- with interest thereon at 6% p.a. from 31.10.2005

till the date of payment. Plaintiff is represented by S.Lakshmi Narasimhan and the defendants are represented by Senior Divisional Manager Mr.Janarthanan. They have also agreed when enquired about the settlement/compromise, praying for a decree in terms of the compromise. Memo is recorded. Suit is decreed in terms of compromise memo.

2. Memo of compromise shall form part of the decree.

3. The full Court fee shall be refunded to the plaintiff in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu CourtFees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994 and there shall be no demand for additional Court fee.
