Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant and issue Grama Natham Patta in favour of the petitioner herein for 0.4 cents situated at Door No.33 in S.No.119/2A, New S.No.300/16 (part), Vandalur Village, Vandalur Taluk, Chengalpet District, Chengalpet as per the last representation given by the petitioner on 25.08.2020 . O R D E R

The Tahsildar, Vandaloor is suo motu added as the 4th respondent in this Writ Petition.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 25.08.2020, wherein, the petitioner has sought for patta with respect to the subject property.

3. Mr. S.N. Parthasarathy, learned Govt. Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the file has been placed before the Tahsildar, Vandaloor and an enquiry has been fixed on 21.10.2020 at 11 a.m.` The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 4th respondent has already called the petitioner for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 4th respondent to complete the enquiry and pass necessary orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
