The memorandum of settlement under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and Rule 25(1) of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Disputes Rules 1958 before the Deputy Commissioner of Labour-II, Chennai, entered into between the petitioner / management and the second respondent / workman on 08.09.2017, is filed before this Court. According to the learned counsel on both sides, the terms of the settlement are voluntary, free and true. In view of the same, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to record the compromise.
