When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has written a letter dated 11.08.2023 stating that he is not pressing the case. Therefore, he sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle and submitted the letter sent by the petitioner dated 11.08.2023.
