The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.05.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), R/w 22(c), 25, 29(1) of NDPS Act, 1985 in crime No.17 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2. Both the petitioners are arrayed as A2 & A1 and they were in conscious possession of Methamphetamine weighing 600 grams and 1 Kg respectively. It is a commercial quantity.

3. That apart, the petitioner failed to satisfy the twin conditions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners and these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed. 13.07.2022 mpl https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
