ORDER
The petitioners have filed this petition seeking direction to the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases registered under SC/ST POA Act cases, Villupuram to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider the bail petition on the same day in Crime No.125 of 2026 on the file of 2nd respondent police
2. Considering the submissions and the materials available on record, it is seen from the records that the second respondent was having food in an eatery where the petitioners were also having food. When the de facto complainant asked for water, the petitioners who were sitting nearby abused him by calling his caste name and questioned about asking water and they pushed him down and punched on his face, due to which, he had lost his two tooth. The entire scene taken place in a public place.
3. In view of the above factual position, there shall be a direction to the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases registered under SC/ST POA Act cases, Villupuram, to consider the petitioner's bail application, preferably on the
same day of his surrender, in connection with Crime No.125 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent Police and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the victims under Section 15-A of the SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989. The petitioners shall surrender before the jurisdictional Court concerned within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
