O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2025 and direct the 1st and 2nd respondent to stay the proceedings Na.Ka.No.2791/2024/A-2, dated 01.04.2025, issued by the fourth respondent.
2. The petitioner is a registered and valid contractor in five Panchayat Unions of Kancheepuram District, was denied the opportunity to participate in a short-term tender issued by the fourth respondent under Na. Ka.No.2791/2024/A-2 dated 20.12.2024 for works valued at Rs.2.30 Crores. Despite being eligible, the petitioner was refused the tender schedule on 07.01.2025, allegedly due to favoritism towards politically influenced individuals. After submitting a representation, the tender was adjourned without a rescheduled date. Subsequently, a fresh tender was issued on Page No.2 of 6
01.04.2025 for works valued at Rs.2.42 crores, but the petitioner was once again denied the tender form, and due to the collusion and hidden tendering, the petitioner is facing financial hardships. As no action was taken on the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2025, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
3. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has no objection for the said order being passed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2025, after giving due notice to the petitioner, affording an opportunity of personal hearing and considering the documents filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
