ORDER

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to direct the respondent to forthwith appoint Mr.C.Vijayakumar, Advocate, Chennai, as Special Public Prosecutor to conduct the trial of the case in S.C.No.44 of 2017 on the file of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, (the Special Court constituted under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989), Chennai as per rule 4 (5) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(Prevention of Atrocities) Rules 1995 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2017 and 18.11.2017.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Special Public Prosecutor submitted that Mr.C.Vijayakumar, learned Advocate has been appointed as Special Public Prosecutor to attend the petitioner's case in S.C.No.44 of 2017.
