ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the
representation of the petitioner dated 23.03.2021 and either to return the petitioner land or fix a fair rate for the land acquired vide G.O.Ms.No.112, Industries (SIPCOT-LA) dated 04.06.2012 for Oragadam SIPCOT Industrial Development Scheme 2.
2. Heard, Mr.K.Balasubramaniam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. This Court has already directed the first and second respondent to conduct and complete the enquiry within the period of two months and pass the final award for the land which was acquired on 04.06.2012. Even then, the respondents did not take any steps to pass the award. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the third respondent on 23.03.2021.
4. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to comply the order passed by this Court dated 01.04.2019 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
