Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the Principal District and Sessions Court, Chengalpattu to pass appropriate order in the case in Crl.M.P.No.2974 of 2020 pending on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Judge at Chengalpattu filed for return of property, a Tractor bearing Reg. (This case has been heard through video conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Chengalpattu to pass appropriate order in a petition in Crl.M.P.No.2974 of 2020 within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.R.Sasikumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.M.Prabhavathi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petition mentioned Crl.M.P.No.2974 of 2020 has been filed by the petitioner praying for return of Tractor bearing registration No.TN21-BY-0187 which was recovered by the first respondent police in connection with Crime No.735 of 2020 for the offences punishable under section 379, 430 of IPC and section 21(1) of Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals Act.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent on instructions would submit that the petition mentioned Crl.M.P. is pending for enquiry.
5. Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu to dispose the petition filed in Crl.M.P.No.2974 of 2020 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
