Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 29.10.2014 within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court.

O R D E R

Petitioner seeks for a direction of the first respondent/Appellate Authority to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 29.10.2014. The petitioner places reliance on a direction issued by this Court in similar circumstances in W.P.No.16706 of 2015 dated 12.6.2015 S.Anand Vs. The Principal Secretary cum Commissioner and Revenue Administration.

2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that since appeal is pending, reasonable time may be given to the Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeal on merits and in accordance with law.

3. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, the first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 29.10.2014 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the order to the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
