Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 22.04.2021 sent by the petitioner for cancelling patta No.712 issued to the 3rd respondent herein in respect of the entire extent of lands measuring 1.72 acres in SF.No.329/3A situate at Soolagiri Village and Taluk, Krishnagiri District in accordance with law and within a stipulated period. ORDER

1. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

2. The limited prayer sought in the present writ petition is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the particular appeal which is now pending and it is claimed by the learned counsel for the petitioner from 22.04.2021. The said appeal had been filed seeking cancellation of patta issued by the 2nd respondent/Tahsildar, Soolagiri, Krishnagiri District. The 3rd respondent has the benefit of the patta as on date.

3. It is informed that notice had also not been issued in the appeal.

4. Therefore, a specific strict time line cannot be given for disposal of the appeal. But, however, after following due process and after giving notice to all the sides and hearing the parties, the 1st respondent may endeavour to dispose of the appeal on or before 30.11.2021.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
