S. VAIDYANATHAN,J. AND MOHAMMED SHAFFIQ,J.

These writ appeals are directed against the orders dated 01.08.2014 passed in W.P. Nos. 19773, 19772, 19771 & 19774 of 2014 respectively.

2.

When the writ appeals are taken up, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants submitted that the orders passed by the learned Single Judge have been complied with and the respondents/writ petitioners have been given the benefits and they have also retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. He has also produced the letters addressed by the District Collector, Cuddalore, vide proceedings in e/f/vz;/gm1/6329/2014 (W.A. No. 1375/2014), e/f/vz;/gm1/6327/2014 (W.A. No. 1376/2014), e/f/vz;/gm1/6155/2014 (W.A. No. 1392/2014) & e/f/vz;/gm1/6242/2014 dated 22.11.2018, intimating the learned Special Government Pleader about the compliance of the orders passed by this Court.

3.

However, this fact has been refuted by the learned counsel for the respondent/writ petitioner in the respective appeals stating that the benefits have been granted only prospectively and that the orders passed by the learned Single Judge have not been implemented.

4.

It is seen that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the matter on the ground that the orders passed by this Court have been given effect to. If there are any violations and in case, the respondent/writ petitioner in the respective appeals feels that the orders of this Court have not been complied with, it is open to the respondent/writ petitioner in the respective appeals to take recourse to any other remedy available in law. 5.

With the above observation, the writ appeals are closed. No costs. Connected M.P.s are closed. Sd/- Deputy Registrar(CS) //True copy// Sub Assistant Registrar nv
