When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already alienated the subject property.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the said alienation was effected towards the arrears of property tax.

3. In view of the above submissions, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition and accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
