O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to survey the property comprised in S.No.308/5 to an extent of 0.25 acre situated at Periyasoragai Village, Mettur Division, Tharamangalam, Salem District, by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2024, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that she purchased the subject property vide Sale Deed dated 21.10.2016. It is the grievance of the petitioner that though she made an application to the 2nd respondent on 02.06.2023 to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries and also paid necessary fees, no steps has been taken so far and therefore, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 08.04.2024. However, the same has also not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for survey of the property and demarcate the boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
