By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the third respondent to modify the patta No.1940 granted in the name of the petitioner in respect of punja Survey No.371/2 to an extent of 0.25 cents, situated at Thirupulivanam Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, after including the omitted extent of 0.13 cents, by considering his representation dated 29.04.2024.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has purchased an extent of 38 cents, when he applied for a patta, the same was issued only of an extent of 25 cents and the remaining extent has been included in the 2/4

name of the adjacent land owner. In this regard, he has given a representation and seeks direction.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.04.2024 and pass orders under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, after hearing the person, in whose name the patta has been included, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
