This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the Respondent to issue license to the petitioner for running Annadurai Tea Stall and Tiffin Shop in the name of Periyar Unavagam at No.2/158, Venkaivasal Main Road, Santhosapuram, Chennai - 600 073, pursuant to the application made by him on 22.02.2020, vide Reference Nos.30200222213030420 and 3020022214014397.

2.On 16.10.2020, when the matter was taken up for consideration, this Court directed the learned counsel for the Petitioner to implead the owner of the subject property, who is said to have caused disturbance to the business operation of the Petitioner. However, till date, no steps have been taken to implead him as party to this writ petition.

3.On the other hand, Mr.J.Ramesh, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent submitted that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the owner of the property, for which, CS.No.104 of 2019 is pending before the District Munsif Court, Tambaram.

4.The said submission has been fairly conceded by the learned counsel for the Petitioner.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application dated 22.02.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
