[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.] Earlier, this Court by order dated 07.06.2023 had directed the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for pre-mature release of the convict prisoner, within a period of six weeks and report compliance of the order on 20.07.2023.

2. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a copy of the Government Order in G.O.(D) No.1017, Home (Prison-IV) Department, dated 24.08.2023 and submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2023, has been rejected for the reasons stated therein.

3. In view of the above submission, compliance of the order made in WP No.16759 of 2023 dated 07.06.2023 is hereby recorded.
