ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and to his properties.

2.It is seen that a sale deed of the subject property claimed by the petitioner has been registered in favour of the 4th respondent and the same was challenged by the petitioner in O.S.No.382 of 2023, on the file of Sub Court, Attur, and it is pending adjudication without any interim order. 3.At this stage, the petitioner has lodged a complaint seeking for police protection to his life and his property. Since, civil dispute is pending as against the subject property between the petitioner and the 4th respondent, police protection cannot be granted.

4.Further, the petitioner has also sought for injunction restraining the 4th respondent from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the

subject property. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner for the said relief cannot be considered in this Writ Petition. The petitioner ought to have approached the Civil Court for appropriate relief. 5.In light of the above, this petition stands dismissed as devoid of merits. However, the petitioner is at liberty to lodge a fresh complaint on a fresh cause of action, if so advised. If any complaint is received, respondents 1 to 3 are hereby directed to take appropriate action on the complaint in accordance with law. No costs.
