Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 28.09.2020 in C.M.P.No.13/B.L.A./C2/2020 against the petitioner's brother Prasanth, Male, aged 28 years, son of (Late) Selvam, who is confined at Central Prison, Salem and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by R.PONGIAPPAN, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C.M.P.No.13/B.L.A./C2/2020 on 28.09.2020, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
detaining his brother as "Bootlegger" under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.4978, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 17.11.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
3. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
