With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to issue appropriate orders to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to regularize the plots bearing No.9, 1st Street, Iyappa Nagar, Ponniammanmedu, comprised in S.No.1374/2 1374/2A2, "Sri Iyyappa Nagar", Madhavaram Taluk, Chennai (North) belonging to the petitioner, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.565, Revenue Department, dated 26.09.2008, within a time stipulated by this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

It is the case of the petitioner that he has purchased the subject plots in the year 1986 and as an innocent purchaser under the purview of the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.565, Revenue Department, dated 26.09.2008, he submitted an application seeking regularisation of his purchase and the same is pending. Hence, the present writ petition.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the application of the petitioner will be considered on merits.
6. Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner on 10.01.2024 seeking regularisation on merits, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 20.06.2024 gya Index : Yes/No 3/4
