ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed to direct the fourth respondents to measure the petitioners land in Kannankurichi Village Survey Nos. 37/1F 37/2 in Salem District on the basis of petitioner representation dated 20.05.2024 and to issue Patta to Petitioner within the time framed by this Court.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Pleader Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the Writ Petitioner is that he purchased the subject property on 14.01.2004 and he is in possession and enjoyment of the property till date. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given a representation dated 20.05.2024 seeking to survey his property and for 2/5
issuance of separate patta, the respondents have not taken any steps on the representation given by the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the second and third respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
