Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the first and second respondents to remove the encroachment made by the fifth respndent in Mariamman Kovil Street, Harur Taluk and Village, Dharmapuri District.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed to seek a direction on the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the encroachment made by the fifth respondent in Mariamman Kovil Street, Harur Village and Taluk, Dharmapuri District.
2. Learned Government Pleader submitted that action would be initiated to remove the encroachment after marking boundaries with the assistance of the revenue department.
3. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct the survey of boundaries of the land in question with the assistance of the revenue department, for that, the revenue department is directed to cooperate with the Divisional Engineer, National Highways, Salem-4. After determination of boundaries, if any encroachment is found, immediate steps be taken for its removal as per the provisions of law. The exercise directed aforesaid would be taken within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There will be no order as to costs.
