(This case has been heard through video conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Kallakurichi to dispose the case in S.C.No.352 of 2016 within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.N.Ranjith Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.M.Prabhavathi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is of the year 2015 and the same has been taken cognizance in the year 2016.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instruction would submit that there are ten witnesses in this case and the case is posted for examination of witnesses on 11.11.2020.

5. Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Kallakurichi to dispose the case pending in S.C.No.352 of 2016 within a period of three months from 11.11.2020 and report the compliance to this Court after completing the proceedings.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
