O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to arrest the accused persons namely Munivel and Savarakodi concerned in crime No.136 of 2019 on the file of the respondent.

2.The relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court, since it is left to the police officer investigating the case to take a decision with regard to the arrest of the accused persons. It is not necessary that in every case the accused persons must be arrested.

3.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and file a final report or closure report as the case may be.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
