Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ, direction or order in the nature of a writ of mandamus direction, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 02.05.2019 made by the petitioner, seeking appointment as Junior Training Officer and pass any other suitable orders.

ORDER

The case of the petitioner is that the third respondent issued a notification for direct recruitment to the post of Junior Training Officer in the Government Industrial Training Institutes in Tamil Nadu for the year 2014-15. Based on the notification, the petioner has made application on 31.01.2016 and thereafter he appeared for the written examination in the month of February 2016 and in March 2016, the provisional selection list of candidates was published. Though the name of the petitioner has appeared in the provisional list, the petitioner has not been given appointment till date. In this regard, the petitioner has given a detailed representation to the respondents on 02.05.2019. However, till date, the 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents have not considered the same. Hence, according to the petitioner, he has preferred this writ petition.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 02.05.2019 submitted by the petitioner and pass orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
